Good money saving habits start from young and the best way to teach children is through example. Give your loved one(s) the gift of financial stability by opening a Junior Savings Account at Hong Leong Bank and they could be benefiting from fixed deposit interest rates as high as 3.95% p.a. in two years.
To start off a parent must open a Junior Savings Account for their child who is currently below 18 years of old and deposit a minimum of RM1000 into their fixed deposit account for at least 24 months. During the first 12 months the FD rate will be calculated at a 3.85% rate p.a. Once the account matures after the 24th month the principal FD amount will then be auto-renewed with a 3.95% p.a. rate.
Please note that partial withdraws from this FD account is allowed in multiple of RM3000. However if the account balance is below RM10,000 a full withdrawal of funds is required. The promotion period runs from 6 March till 30 June 2013 or until a RM1 billion fund size is reached.

To be eligible for the grand prize customers must have a valid FD account with a minimum balance of RM1000 from 30 June till 30 September 2013. Every RM1000 deposited into the account during this period will qualify as one entry for the customer.
20 qualifying participants will be shortlisted and contacted by Hong Leong Bank when the promotion period ends. The shortlisting process and final grand prize winner selection method will be at the sole discretion of Hong Leong Bank.
