The Financial Literacy Month (FLM) is an initiative by the Financial Education Network (FEN) to raise financial awareness among Malaysians, provide financial education and advice, as well as improve their financial wellbeing. Throughout this month, FLM 2021 organised a variety of programmes from webinars to competitions and virtual information booths.

As October comes to a close in another 10 days, FLM 2021 is set to wrap up with a three-day virtual finale event that takes place between 29 to 31 October, and the public is cordially invited to join in. There will be various activities focused on financial education, including:

  • Repayment assistance and advisory services from 22 banks in Malaysia
  • Series of webinar and advisory services on personal financial management for young people, parents, families, adults, gig workers, as well as micro, small, and medium enterprises (SMEs and MSMEs)
  • Financial planning consultation sessions with licensed financial planners
  • Information and access to upskilling & reskilling and training programmes, as well as alternative income-generating platforms
  • Up to RM80,000 worth of Lazada/Shopee/Grab vouchers to be won
  • And many more!
