Celcom Axiata Berhad (Celcom) has launched the Celcom MAX, a new offering that combines selected home fibre broadband plans with a mobile postpaid internet plan in one bill at a special price. With this, Celcom customers can expect to enjoy a variety of benefits, including seamless high-speed connectivity, monthly rebates for a lifetime, and enhanced convenience both at home and while on the go.
Specifically, Celcom MAX brings together its Celcom Home Fibre unlimited fibre internet plans (valued at RM120 and above, 24-month contract) and MEGA postpaid plans (valued at RM80 and above) into one standalone plan with a single bill. Once combined, you will be able to enjoy a monthly saving of RM21 throughout the entire subscription period. There are four Celcom MAX packages that you can choose from:
Package | Price | Offering |
Package 1 | RM179 (original price RM200) | Celcom Home Fibre 100 Mbps (Unlimited) + Celcom MEGA 40GB with unlimited calls to all networks |
Package 2 | RM199 (original price RM220) | Celcom Home Fibre 300 Mbps (Unlimited) + Celcom MEGA 40GB with unlimited calls to all networks |
Package 3 | RM259 (original price RM280) | Celcom Home Fibre 500 Mbps (Unlimited) + Celcom MEGA 40GB with unlimited calls to all networks |
Package 4 | RM279 (original price RM300) | Celcom Home Fibre 1 Gbps (Unlimited) + Celcom MEGA 40GB with unlimited calls to all networks |
On top of the monthly savings for a lifetime, you will also be entitled to a free AX router for your home, as well as unlimited access to free entertainment content from iflix, iQiyi, or dimsum for six months. Celcom noted that a third entertainment streaming option will be offered soon to replace dimsum, which will terminate its services in September this year.
Additionally, if you subscribe to Package 3 or 4, you can obtain a pair of Celcom Mesh Wi-Fi for free – a technology that helps to expand your home wi-fi and reduce signal weak spots and dead zones. Meanwhile, those subscribing to Package 1 and 2 will need to pay RM25 to get the Mesh Wi-Fi units for 24 months.
If you’ve been looking to upgrade your devices or hardware, the Celcom MAX package also comes with add-on deals that let you save up to 50% on the purchase of an Android TV or a Microsoft Surface laptop. The Sharp 42” Android TV is being offered at a discounted price of RM1,200 (normal price RM1,749), whereas the 60” Android TV is going at RM2,400 (normal price RM4,999). These can be purchased on instalment for RM100/month, over a period of 12 months and 24 months, respectively.
As for the Microsoft Surface laptops, the Microsoft Surface Go 2 and Microsoft Surface Pro X are both going at RM3,400 and RM5,800, respectively, instead of their usual prices of RM4,033 and RM6,438. These can also be paid via instalment, with payment for Microsoft Surface Go 2 set at RM142/month, and Microsoft Surface Pro X at RM242/month – both for a period of 24 months.
