CelcomDigi has launched its new unified mobile app, which will replace the existing Celcom Life and MyDigi apps. Customers are encouraged to switch before 31 December 2025, when both older apps will be discontinued.
In a statement, the company said the new CelcomDigi app is part of its ongoing post-merger integration, combining both brands into a single digital platform for customers.
Celcom and Digi completed their merger in November 2022, forming one of Malaysia’s largest telecommunications companies. The unified app now serves over 20 million customers, providing one central channel for account management, customer support, and rewards.
Acting chief executive officer Albern Murthy said the app was built with enhanced service features and artificial intelligence (AI) technology for better user support and security.
“It delivers an experience that puts everything in the palm of your hand, giving you full control over your digital services and connectivity needs,” he said.
New features include access to AI-RA, an AI-powered customer support system, a Daily Streak challenge that lets users unlock rewards, and a Safety page that allows customers to report scams instantly.
To mark the launch, CelcomDigi is offering limited-time rewards through the app. Users can purchase a 100GB data pass for RM1 (limited to one million passes), enjoy special rates for selected streaming services, and receive free roaming and IDD calls for 12 months, available exclusively to postpaid customers.
The CelcomDigi app is available for download on both the Apple App Store and Google Play.
Customers who still use the older Celcom Life or MyDigi apps are advised to transition to the new platform before the end of the year to continue accessing their services without interruption.
