CelcomDigi’s Spark Offers 5G eSIM Plans From RM15 A Month
Author Avatar

CelcomDigi has officially launched Spark, a new eSIM-only mobile brand that allows customers to sign up, activate, and manage their mobile lines entirely through a mobile app.

The new digital telco was announced on 28 October 2025 and is designed for customers who prefer a fully online experience without the need for physical SIM cards or in-store visits.

Three Monthly Plans With Up To 200GB Of Data

Spark currently offers three monthly mobile plans that combine 4G and 5G connectivity. The Mini plan provides 3GB of 4G data for RM15 a month, the Standard plan offers 40GB of 5G or 4G data for RM25 a month, and the Plus plan includes 200GB of 5G or 4G data for RM65 a month.

The Standard and Plus plans come with 100 minutes of voice calls, while the Mini plan does not include any voice minutes. None of the plans include SMS by default, although add-ons for data, calls, and SMS are available starting from RM1.

Early Sign-Up Promotion Until December

To encourage early adoption, Spark is offering an introductory RM5 monthly discount for the first 12 months to customers who register before 31 December 2025.

The offer can be redeemed by entering the promo code SPARK5 during registration through the Spark app. Customers can also manage up to five active Spark lines under a single account within the same app.

Features And Limitations

As of now, Spark does not support number porting, meaning users cannot transfer an existing mobile number from another telco into the service. The platform also does not support smartwatches or companion devices.

Spark operates entirely through the app, where users can view usage details, top up balances, and make plan changes.

Migration From Yoodo To Spark

Spark is widely viewed as the successor to Yoodo, CelcomDigi’s previous digital telco brand that was discontinued in August 2025. At the time, Yoodo customers were allowed to continue using their lines and subscriptions temporarily.

From now on, Yoodo users will be automatically migrated to Spark, with all existing plans, balances, credits, and points transferred over. However, customers should note that all loyalty points will expire after 31 December 2025.

The transition has been made seamless, as the Yoodo app pages on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store have been repurposed for Spark. Users will only need to update their existing app to view and manage their accounts.

A Fully Digital Experience

With the launch of Spark, CelcomDigi is strengthening its presence in the growing digital telco space by offering a simplified, app-based experience for eSIM users.

The move reflects the company’s focus on providing flexible, affordable, and data-driven mobile plans for customers who value convenience and digital-first connectivity.
