FIFA World Cup 2026 Ticket Presale Draw Opens For Visa Cardholders
Author Avatar

Fans in Malaysia who want a head start on securing tickets for the FIFA World Cup 2026™ can now register for the Visa Presale Draw. The presale entry period runs from 10 to 19 September 2025, ahead of general ticket sales.

Presale does not award free tickets. Instead, selected participants will gain the opportunity to purchase official match tickets during the first sales phase, earlier than the general public. All prices will follow FIFA’s official ticket categories, and availability will depend on demand.

Who Can Participate In The Presale Draw

To enter, applicants must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid Visa Debit, Visa Credit, or reloadable Visa prepaid card that is enabled with 3D Secure. A FIFA Ticketing Account is also required. Both primary and secondary cardholders are eligible, as long as their card is active and in good standing.

For those without a Visa card, entry is still possible by sending a mail-in application. Each individual, regardless of entry method, may only register once

How To Register With A Visa Card

Fans can register through FIFA.com/tickets. Before the entry period begins, they may create or update their FIFA ID and set up their Ticketing Account.

During the presale window, applicants must log in, enter their Visa card details, and complete the registration. To confirm the card is valid, FIFA may process a test transaction that shows up as RM0 on your account. This is only for verification and no money will be deducted. Entrants may also indicate match preferences, though this will not affect the outcome of the draw.

A confirmation message and email will serve as proof of successful entry. FIFA advises registering early to avoid last-minute congestion.

How Winners Are Selected And Notified

Between 19 and 29 September 2025, FIFA will conduct random draws to select winners from all eligible entries.

Winners will then be notified by email, starting no earlier than 29 September 2025, with details of their allocated time slot. No purchase window will begin before 1 October 2025. Each winner receives one specific time slot, during which they may log into their Ticketing Account to view and purchase available tickets.

Buying tickets during the allocated time slot

Ticket sales will operate on a first-come, first-served basis within each time slot. While earlier winners may have broader ticket choices, later slots may see limited availability depending on demand.

All purchases must be completed using a Visa card, though it does not need to be the same one used for registration. Ticketing terms, including restrictions on the number of tickets per household, will apply.

Winning the presale draw offers the chance to buy tickets, but does not guarantee availability for specific matches or categories. Fans are encouraged to log in promptly at the start of their time slot to improve their chances.
