Malaysia Airlines (MAS) has introduced an Ultimate Flexibility ticket change policy, which offers free unlimited changes to all new and existing bookings. This is to accommodate its passengers’ need for flexibility in their flight schedules following the spread of the Covid-19 outbreak.

Effective immediately, the policy allows you to make unlimited changes to your flight dates and destinations for free. Note that you will still need to top up on fare differences when you make changes to your destinations, wherever applicable. To take advantage of these benefits, your booking must be issued on or before 31 March 2020, whereas your flight rebookings must be done on or before 31 May 2020. Also, your new travel date need to fall on or before 31 December 2020.

With the free Go Show benefit, you can also opt to book an earlier flight that is flying on the same day of your departure at no extra cost, although this is subject to availability. This is applicable only for travels between now to 21 May 2020.

To rebook, you will need to visit the Malaysia Airlines Ticket Office. Alternatively, you can call the Global Contact Centre at 1-300-88-3000 (in Malaysia) or +603 7843 3000 (outside Malaysia). You may also request for assistance from appointed MAS agents.

The Ultimate Flexibility policy is also applicable for the airline’s ongoing Malaysia Airlines Travel Fair, which offers deals with up to 55% discounts on domestic and international flights, and special deals for business class flights.

To find out more about the Ultimate Flexibility ticket change policy, you can head on over to MAS’ website.
