Alliance Bank is running a cinema promotion with Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC) that gives cardholders access to discounted tickets and dining deals when they pay using their Alliance Bank credit or debit cards.
The campaign runs until 30 September 2026 and applies to selected purchases made through GSC’s website or mobile app.
If you have an Alliance Bank credit or debit card, you can access these deals, but only when you pay using the card, follow the required purchase method, and manage to book before the limited quota runs out.
In most cases, this means buying tickets through GSC’s online platforms rather than at the counter, as some offers are tied specifically to online transactions.
One of the main offers is a 50% discount on tickets at GSC’s Velvet cinemas, which are typically priced higher due to the more premium setup. This applies to online purchases made using an Alliance Bank card, but is limited to a fixed number of redemptions.
There is also a weekly buy-one-free-one deal for standard and Premiere hall tickets. To qualify, tickets must be purchased on a Thursday using an eligible card, although the tickets themselves can be used for screenings on other days.
Because this deal is capped each week, availability can run out quickly, especially for popular showtimes.
The campaign also includes a 20% discount on food and drinks at Velvet dine-in areas when payment is made using an Alliance Bank card.
The discount applies to most items but excludes alcohol, taxes, and service charges, and must be applied to a single transaction.
Even when a promotion is available, booking fees charged through GSC’s website or app still apply and are not covered under the campaign.
Availability can also vary depending on demand, timing, and whether the quota has already been used, particularly for the weekly ticket deals.
If you already use an Alliance Bank card, the campaign can reduce the cost of premium formats like Velvet or make weekday trips more affordable through the Thursday offer.
At the same time, the savings depend on when you book and whether the allocation is still available, as most of the deals are limited and not guaranteed for every transaction.
