Alliance Bank, SofaX Partner To Offer Furnishing Credit Rebates
Author Avatar

Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad has entered into a partnership with SofaX, announced on 28 August 2025. Through this collaboration, the bank will provide up to RM45 million in furnishing credit rebates for its new and existing mortgage customers.

SofaX is a home design platform that combines virtual reality (VR) technology with a wide network of merchants, allowing homeowners to visualise, plan, and furnish their living spaces more effectively.

Who can Benefit from the Rebates

Under the partnership, mortgage customers who take up a loan or financing of RM300,000 and above, with credit insurance, will be eligible for RM15,000 worth of furnishing credit rebates.

The rebates can be redeemed through the SofaX App and used on home design services, furniture, appliances, and other essentials at more than 100 participating merchants.

Adding Value to the Home Ownership Journey

For many homeowners, buying a property is just the first step. The next stage often involves designing and equipping the space to make it liveable. This initiative aims to ease that transition by offering financial relief on furnishing costs, while also giving customers access to modern design tools.

Bringing Technology into Everyday Living

SofaX’s platform uses VR to help users visualise their homes before committing to purchases. It also connects them with curated merchants across different categories, streamlining the furnishing process into a single digital experience.

Customers can find further details about the Alliance Bank–SofaX partnership, including eligibility requirements, on Alliance Bank’s website.
