AmBank Group has approved RM307 million in financing for Chin Hin Group Bhd’s subsidiaries, Aricia Sdn Bhd and Makna Setia Sdn Bhd, to support residential and infrastructure projects in the Klang Valley and East Malaysia.

The funds will help develop Aricia Residences @ Sungai Besi, a residential project launched in Q1 2025 with a gross development value (GDV) of RM467 million. It will feature 787 serviced apartments with smart home features and enhanced security.

“These developments align with our commitment to fostering sustainable growth. AmBank Group remains dedicated to supporting initiatives that drive progress and create lasting value for communities. This collaboration underscores our ongoing efforts to contribute to Malaysia’s development and construction landscape”, said AmBank Group’s Managing Director of Business Banking, Christopher Yap.

The financing also covers a mixed-use development in Bandar Kinrara — comprising two residential towers and a retail hub — and civil infrastructure works in East Malaysia, AmBank stated in their website.

Chiau Haw Choon, group managing director of Chin Hin Group called the partnership a key step in driving urban and infrastructure growth, while Chin Hin’s Chiau Haw Choon said it enables the group to deliver modern, family-friendly homes and contribute to national development.

“Additionally, our infrastructure initiatives in East Malaysia reflect our commitment to national progress, driving sustainable development and enhancing connectivity across the region,” he added.
