CIMB Islamic Bank Berhad has rolled out the ‘Riuh Durian Runtuh’ 2026 campaign, offering gold and cash rewards to customers who save through its Daily Unrestricted Investment Account-i, or DURIAN-i.

The campaign runs from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2026 and is open to both new and existing individual account holders.

Gold And Cash Rewards Across The Year

The campaign features rewards across monthly, quarterly, and year-end categories, with gold bars forming the main prizes.

For year-end rewards, the top prize is a gold bar worth RM150,000, followed by gold bars worth RM100,000 and RM50,000. Five additional winners will receive RM10,000 in cash as consolation prizes.

Quarterly rewards include gold bars worth RM20,000, RM10,000, and RM5,000 for first, second, and third prize winners, respectively. Selected participants will also receive RM50 cash consolation rewards each quarter.

Monthly rewards include gold bars worth RM8,000, RM5,000, and RM3,000, alongside RM50 cash consolation rewards.

Each eligible customer may win a maximum of one year-end reward, one monthly reward every three months, and one quarterly reward every two quarters during the campaign period.

Eligibility And Account Requirements

Participation is open to Malaysian residents aged 18 and above with a DURIAN-i account.

For joint accounts, only the primary account holder is eligible. Business entities, including sole proprietorships, partnerships, companies, societies, and associations, are excluded. Certain CIMB Group employees are also not eligible, depending on their role in the campaign.

DURIAN-i accounts are not protected by Perbadanan Insurans Deposit Malaysia.

How Rewards Are Earned

Rewards are determined based on entries earned from maintaining minimum average balances and completing selected transactions.

Customers must maintain an average balance of at least RM2,000 to qualify for monthly rewards, RM5,000 for quarterly rewards, and RM20,000 for year-end rewards.

Additional entries are awarded for higher balances and for payments made to approved zakat bodies or Tabung Haji accounts. Entries are only valid within the relevant month or quarter and cannot be carried forward.

Selection And Reward Fulfilment

Potential winners are shortlisted through CIMB’s automated selection system based on eligibility and the number of entries earned.

Shortlisted participants will be contacted via SMS and must answer a question correctly within the stated timeframe. Winners are selected based on the fastest correct responses and will be notified through SMS or via CIMB’s official website.

Cash rewards will be credited directly into the winner’s DURIAN-i account, while non-cash rewards will be fulfilled according to CIMB’s procedures.

What To Know Before Joining

CIMB may revise campaign terms, substitute rewards of equivalent value, or adjust the campaign period with prior notice.

Participation is subject to the full terms and conditions, which are governed by Malaysian law and relevant regulatory requirements.
