HLB Meezani Account-i holders stand a chance to win cash, gold bars, holiday packages, a Proton e.MAS 5, and a Porsche Cayenne in HLB Islamic’s second year of prize draws, which runs from 30 July 2026 to 29 July 2027.
There are daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly draws, with minimum balances ranging from RM100 to RM60,000 depending on the prize.
HLB Islamic announced this year’s prizes at a rewards ceremony in Kuala Lumpur on 29 September 2026, held to mark the account’s first year. The bank said 43% of those who opened the account in its first year were new HLB Islamic customers.
Each prize has its own minimum balance, and you get one entry for every full multiple of that amount.
| Draw | Prize | Minimum Balance |
| Daily | RM50 cash (5 winners a day) | RM100 |
| Weekly | RM100 cash (5 winners a week) | RM200 |
| Monthly | RM500 cash (10 winners) | RM300 |
| Monthly | Touch ‘n Go eWallet reload PIN worth RM1,000 (5 winners) | RM500 |
| Monthly | Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra 256GB (1 winner) | RM2,000 |
| Quarterly | RM3,000 cash (5 winners) | RM1,500 |
| Quarterly | 10g gold bar (3 winners) | RM2,000 |
| Quarterly | Proton e.MAS 5 (1 winner) | RM5,000 |
| Yearly | RM30,000 cash (5 winners) | RM10,000 |
| Yearly | Holiday package worth RM50,000 (3 winners) | RM15,000 |
| Yearly | 250g gold bar (1 winner) | RM30,000 |
| Yearly | Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid Coupé (1 winner) | RM60,000 |
For example, keeping RM1,000 in the account when the day ends gives 10 entries in the daily draw, since the minimum balance is RM100.
For the weekly draw, you get one entry for every RM200. Keeping RM2,500 at the end of the week gives 12 entries, and the extra RM100 doesn’t count.
For quarterly and yearly prizes, entries are counted from each month-end balance and added up until the draw. Keeping RM2,000 in the account at the end of each month for a three-month quarter, for example, gives three entries for the 10g gold bar draw.
Since the monthly, quarterly, and yearly draws all use your month-end balance, withdrawing money on the last day of the month can reduce your entries for that month, even if you put the money back a few days later.
The monthly and quarterly prizes also offer extra entries if you’ve already met the minimum balance for the relevant prize.
You can earn additional entries by making at least 10 eligible QR or online payments from the account in a month, or by depositing at least RM2,000 in a single transaction. Doing both in the same month earns one more combo entry.
| Prize | Most Extra Entries In A Month |
| RM500 cash (monthly) | 8 |
| Touch ‘n Go eWallet reload PIN (monthly) | 6 |
| Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra (monthly) | 2 |
| RM3,000 cash (quarterly) | 2 |
| 10g gold bar (quarterly) | 2 |
| Proton e.MAS 5 (quarterly) | 1 |
Making 10 payments earns extra entries for the RM500 cash and Touch ‘n Go prizes.
A deposit of RM2,000 or more earns extra entries for every prize in the table except the Proton e.MAS 5, which only gets the combo entry when you do both in the same month.
The daily, weekly, and yearly draws don’t offer extra entries.
You can win the daily prize once a week at most, and the weekly prize once every two weeks. If your name is selected for more than one monthly prize in the same month, you’ll only receive the highest-value prize. The same applies to the quarterly and yearly draws.
To qualify for the draws, you need to actively use HLB Connect from the start of each draw period until any prize is handed over.
Winners are selected within 30 working days after each draw period ends and notified through the HLB Connect app within 14 working days after that. You have 30 working days from the announcement to claim your prize, after which the bank may award it to another winner.
Cash prizes are credited directly into the winner’s HLB Meezani Account-i. Winners are responsible for any taxes or fees related to their prizes, and HLB Islamic may publish winners’ names with part of their IC numbers concealed.
Non-cash prizes are handed over within 90 working days. Winners will need their winning letter and IC to collect them. Prizes can’t be exchanged for cash or transferred to someone else.
The account is Shariah-compliant and open to individuals who live in Malaysia. You need RM100 to open it and RM50 to keep it open.
The account currently has an indicative profit rate of 0.05% p.a., calculated daily and paid monthly, as of 30 September 2026. You can deposit or withdraw money through HLB Islamic branches, ATMs, cash deposit machines, and online channels.
Because it’s an investment account rather than a savings account or fixed deposit, HLB Islamic states that the money and returns aren’t guaranteed and the account isn’t protected by Perbadanan Insurans Deposit Malaysia (PIDM).
The prize draws come on top of the account’s profit rate, so look at both when deciding where to keep your money. You can also compare the latest savings account and fixed deposit rates on RinggitPlus.
You can open the account at an HLB Islamic branch or book an appointment through the HLB Islamic website. The full rules are set out in the campaign’s terms and conditions [PDF].
