Hong Leong Bank (HLB) has launched its 2024 Visa Paris Olympics campaign, which will run from today until 30 June 2024. With this promo, eligible debit and credit cardholders will stand a chance to win a trip for two to the Olympic Game 2024 in Paris as the grand prize, as well as a variety of Samsung devices and appliances as consolation prizes.
Open to all new and existing HLB customers who hold a Visa debit and credit card, the campaign requires you to first earn entries by performing selected transactions or banking activities. Upon earning the entries, a draw will be held as part of the process to determine the winners of the grand and consolation prizes – which are detailed below:

To stand a chance at winning any of the above prizes, you can go ahead and carry out any of the following transactions or activities to start earning entries:

Note that eligible transactions for this campaign include both online and offline retail purchases. Meanwhile, transactions like payments for healthcare, insurance, utilities, and government bodies are excluded.
Upon earning the entries, the bank will first hold a draw using a randomiser programme to shortlist the grand prize winners. If your draw entry is selected, you’ll be contacted by a representative from the bank. During the phone call, you’ll be asked to answer a question; if you’re able to do so correctly, then you’ll be confirmed as one of the grand prize winners for this campaign!
Similarly, for consolation prize winners, you’ll also need to go through the draw process, after which a notification will be sent to you. The notification will contain a question that you are required to answer correctly within twenty-four hours – if you’re able to do so, you’ll also be confirmed as the winners.
HLB further clarified that the selection of the grand prize winners will be carried out from 7 to 14 June, and consolation prize winners from 8 July to 1 August 2024. Accordingly, grand prize winners will be notified latest by 30 June and receive their prizes latest by 14 July, whereas consolidation prize winners will be informed latest by 21 July, and receive the prizes by 20 August.
Finally, you are not required to go through any registration process to participate in this campaign. Simply go ahead and perform any of the qualifying transactions or activities to start earning entries and join the draw.
