HLB Islamic Campaign Offers Travel Prizes For Using Its Financial Products
Author Avatar

Opening a new bank account, investing, or even making charitable payments through your banking app could now turn into entries for a travel prize.

HLB Islamic has launched its Destinasi Impian promotion, giving customers a chance to win overseas trips by completing selected banking transactions during the campaign period from 10 March to 30 June 2026.

Travel Prizes Worth Up To RM40,000

The campaign offers three travel rewards. The grand prize is a trip to Japan for two worth RM40,000, while the second prize is a trip to China for two worth RM20,000 and the third prize is a Vietnam trip for two worth RM10,000.

Winners will receive travel vouchers that can be redeemed for flights or travel packages through an appointed travel agency. Any travel costs that exceed the voucher value must be paid by the winner.

Banking Activities Earn Entries

Customers earn entries into the draw by completing eligible transactions during the campaign period. These include opening accounts, investing in funds, applying for financing products, or placing deposits.

For example, opening a Meezani Account-i with a minimum RM200 deposit earns 15 entries, while opening other participating accounts such as savings or Pay&Save accounts earns 10 entries. Maintaining a minimum incremental monthly balance of RM500 can generate additional entries each month.

Customers can also earn entries through other financial activities such as placing fixed deposits, investing in Shariah-compliant unit trusts, applying for financing products, or signing up for selected takaful plans.

Certain transactions performed through the HLB Connect mobile app also qualify. These include zakat payments, sadaqah contributions, waqaf donations, and will writing services.

Larger Financial Commitments Generate More Entries

Some activities carry higher entry allocations because they involve larger financial commitments. Upgrading to Hong Leong Priority Banking can generate 50 entries, while upgrading to Private Banking can earn 100 entries.

Applications for financing products such as personal financing, property financing, or ASB financing can also generate multiple entries if they meet the minimum facility requirements.

In most cases, financing products must be approved and disbursed by 31 July 2026 to qualify for the promotion.

Winners Selected Through A Draw

At the end of the promotion period, HLB Islamic will randomly shortlist participants based on the total number of entries earned.

Shortlisted customers must answer a question through the HLB Connect app within a 48 hour time limit. The winners will be determined based on the fastest correct response, with entry count used as a tie breaker if necessary.

The bank will notify winners within 90 business days after the promotion ends.
