Hong Leong’s Campaign Offers Up To 70% Discount On Selected Items, Cash Prizes

Hong Leong Bank is currently running its Virtual Shopping Mall Sweep campaign, which allows Visa credit cardholders the chance to obtain various high-value items at a discounted price of up to 70%, as well as redeem gift cards, vouchers, and cashback rewards. Open to both new and existing Hong Leong Bank Visa credit cardholders, the campaign is set to run for two months, until 6 August 2022.

The campaign will first require you to spend a cumulative amount of RM2,000 and above to earn invites to the main event, where you get to “sweep” branded items and free gifts from Hong Leong’s virtual shopping mall into your shopping cart. The number of items that you can “sweep” will depend on your total cumulative spend, as stated below:

Note that qualifying transactions for this campaign include only online and retail purchases. Transactions such as e-wallet top-ups, recurring payments, balance transfers, flexi payment plans, as well as payments for insurance and utilities do not qualify.

Once you meet the cumulative spend requirement, Hong Leong Bank will then send you an invite to one of the following Virtual Shopping Mall Sweep sessions:

Session 1: 14 August 2022 (Sunday), 11.00 am
Session 2: 20 August 2022 (Saturday), 11.00 am

The invite will be sent via your HLB Connect app at least 48 hours before the sessions begin; once it does, join in and start “sweeping”!

Each session will open for 48 hours, or until all the items are sold out, whichever is earlier. Numerous gadgets and electronic products, gift cards, vouchers, and cashback rewards will be up for grabs. Here’s the full list of items that you can expect to redeem from the sessions:

Aside from these two Virtual Shopping Mall Sweep sessions, there is actually a third exclusive session that is organised for the first 50 cardholders that accumulate a minimum spend of RM10,000. In this special session, you will have a chance to snap up the following items:

The exclusive session will take place on 21 August 2022 at 11.00 am, and will also run for 48 hours or until all the items are sold out.

Note that all items on offer are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Also, cardholders who join in the three sessions are not required to pay for their selected items immediately during the session itself. Instead, Hong Leong will provide the details of the supplier to you via email within five days from the end of your shopping mall sweep session. You will then need to pay the supplier using your Hong Leong credit card within five days of receiving the email.

Finally, do be aware that no registrations are required for this campaign; you only need to meet the specified cumulative spend to be enrolled in it.
