HSBC Offers Up To RM50 Cashback For Apple Pay Use
Author Avatar

HSBC is offering credit cardholders cashback for adding their card to Apple Pay and meeting a spending requirement, as part of a promotion running from 1 August to 31 December 2026.

Not All Cardholders Are Eligible

If you hold the HSBC Premier Travel Mastercard or Premier World Mastercard, you qualify for RM50 cashback. Cardholders of the HSBC Visa Signature, Travel One, Live+, Platinum Visa and Platinum Mastercard qualify for RM30 instead.

The offer is open to both primary and supplementary cardholders. You won’t be eligible if your card wasn’t issued in Malaysia, if it’s a corporate card, or if you already added it to Apple Pay within the past six months.

The total cashback pool, shared with a parallel HSBC Amanah promotion, is capped at 3,000 units for Premier cardholders and 1,000 units for other cardholders, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Five Transactions Of RM100 Required

To qualify, you’ll need to add your card to Apple Wallet by 30 November 2026, then complete at least five Apple Pay transactions of RM100 or more each within 30 days of adding the card, using the same card throughout.

Only transactions made via Apple Pay count, physical card swipes don’t qualify, and you can only earn one unit of cashback in total, even if you add multiple eligible cards. Your cashback will be credited within eight to ten weeks after the promotion ends.

Adding Your Card Takes Four Steps

To add your card, open Apple Wallet, enter your card details, and choose the HSBC Malaysia Mobile Banking app as your verification method. Then log into the app using biometrics or a PIN, select the card to add, and wait for a confirmation tick once your card is verified.
