Maybank has announced upcoming system maintenance that will temporarily affect several online banking services on 19 and 20 August 2025. The exercise, conducted regularly, is part of the bank’s efforts to maintain stability and ensure a smooth online banking experience for customers.
Several key services will be unavailable at different times across Maybank2u web, the MAE app, and Maybank2u Biz. FPX and Debit Mandate services will only be affected on Maybank2u web.
To provide clarity, Maybank has published a schedule of affected services. The table below summarises the downtime periods alongside the impacted platforms.

As shown, PayNet-related services such as DuitNow and DuitNow QR will face two separate interruptions, one on Tuesday and another on Wednesday. JomPay, along with IBG, FPX, and Debit Mandate, will only be affected for one hour, between 3.00am and 4.00am on 20 August.
Preparing for the Downtime
Customers are encouraged to complete their online transactions before the scheduled maintenance periods to avoid disruption. Payments, transfers, and other affected services will not be available during the times listed above.
