Standard Chartered has launched its Kuala Lumpur Standard Chartered Marathon (KLSCM) 2024 campaign, which offers customers the chance to win limited running slots for the highly anticipated upcoming marathon event. On top of that, you can also win grand prizes in the form of a four-day-three-night (4D3N) trip to Hong Kong, with two running slots for a separate Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon (SCHKM) 2025 event, along with return flights and hotel accommodation.

Open to all eligible Standard Chartered customers, the campaign mechanics used to win the two prizes mentioned above are actually different. Here’s a quick breakdown to help clarify things:

Prize 1: Running slots for KLSCM 2024

If you’re aiming to win running slots for KLSCM – which is set to take place on 5 and 6 October 2024 at Dataran Merdeka – then you can simply go ahead and perform the following transactions between today until 30 June 2024:

If you do win any of the KLSCM running slots, you will be notified by the bank between 1 to 22 July 2024 via email and/or SMS, containing the PIN code required for you to redeem the complimentary slot. You’ll need to redeem it in in the designated KLSCM website, latest by 31 July 2024, or the code will expire and be forfeited – so make sure to keep an eye out for it!

Prize 2: Trip to Hong Kong & running slots for SCHKM 2025

Meanwhile, for those who are aiming to win the trip to Hong Kong and running slots for the SCHKM event that is happening next year, here are the details of the reward that will be awarded to you:

• 2x running slots for SCHKM 2025 (taking place on 9 February 2025)
• 2x Economy-class return flight tickets to Hong Kong
• 4D3N hotel accommodation (inclusive of breakfast)

To win these, you’ll need to first earn entries by performing any of the following banking transactions or activities between today until 31 July 2024:

Upon earning the entries, Standard Chartered will choose a total of three winners via its proprietary selection process. If you are eventually selected as a winner, you will be informed within 90 days from the end of the campaign period, and the appointed travel agency that will provide the prizes will get in touch with you on the travel arrangements. You may be required to attend a prize-giving ceremony.
