Standard Chartered Bank has announced the discontinuation of the 0% FlexiPay Plus facility for Smart credit card users, effective 10 January 2025. From this date onwards, cardholders will no longer be able to utilise the feature for new transactions.
Transactions approved prior to 10 January 2025 will remain unaffected. Customers who have already opted for the 0% FlexiPay Plus facility will continue to enjoy 0% interest until the end of their three-month instalment period.
The bank has advised customers to contact them for any queries. Support is available via the SC Mobile app, Online Banking, or email at [email protected].

No, the Standard Chartered Smart Credit Card itself is not discontinued. However, the 0% FlexiPay Plus facility offered for Smart Credit Cards is being ended, effective January 10, 2025.
