Standard Chartered will be running its Year End Spend & Win campaign starting from 23 November 2021 to 28 February 2022, allowing eligible credit cardholders to earn between RM5 to RM100 daily cashback when they spend a minimum of RM100 in a single transaction. They will also stand a chance to win the grand prize of a Volvo XC40 Recharge via the campaign.

Open to all Standard Chartered credit cardholders, those who are aiming to win the daily cashback prize will receive an SMS with a link to play a game after they meet the spend requirement. You’ll need to play the game in order to earn the cashback prizes that are on offer, capped at two daily rewards per day regardless of how many eligible transactions that you’ve carried out on that day.

Note that only retail transactions are allowed in order to win this reward. Payments such as utilities, insurance, petrol, telecommunications, as well as government, professional, and commercial services do not qualify. Additionally, the total quantity of daily cashback prizes that have been allocated by Standard Chartered for the entire campaign period is as follows:

All cashback prizes are provided on a first-come first-served basis, and if won, will be credited to your account within 60 working days from the end of each campaign month. It will be reflected in your statement as well.

Aside from the cashback rewards, cardholders will also stand a chance to win a Volvo XC40 Recharge via this campaign by earning entries through eligible transactions, namely:

Unlike for cashback rewards, there are no exclusions with regard to the eligible transactions that can earn you entries; all payments are accepted. At the end of the campaign period, Standard Chartered will select the grand prize winner by shortlisting eligible cardholders using a randomiser programme. The winner will then be contacted by the bank within 90 days from the end of the campaign period.

If you’d like to join Standard Chartered’s Year End Spend & Win campaign, you’ll need to register your participation by sending an SMS (“SC8“) to 66399 or by registering online via Standard Chartered’s website. Cardholders with multiple cards will only need to register once. Do also be aware that it may take up to three working days for the bank to update your registration, which means that you may experience some delay in receiving your game links (for the cashback rewards) during the start of your participation in the campaign.
