Unifi TV has revealed its pricing for the FIFA World Cup 2026, with a full season pass at RM60 for new viewers or RM50 for existing subscribers. That works out to under RM1 per match for live HD coverage of all 104 games across the tournament, which runs from 11 June to 19 July.
Separately, the government has added a free streaming option through the MyGOV app, which now carries RTM’s live TV channels on mobile. If you have a MyDigital ID, you can stream RTM’s World Cup coverage directly from the app without needing to download RTMKlik.
RTM and Unifi TV were confirmed as the tournament’s official broadcasters in May, and these are the first details on pricing and access since then.
The season pass gives you live access to all 104 matches in HD, along with match highlights and full-match replays. The broadcast will run across three dedicated World Cup channels on the Unifi TV platform.
On top of the football, the pass also comes with temporary access to more than 70 premium channels, including HBO, Cinemax, AXN, beIN SPORTS, SPOTV, and tvN Movies. This runs from 11 June to 10 July, so it covers most of the tournament but not the final two rounds, which fall between 10 and 19 July.
| Season Pass | Daily Pass | |
| Price | RM50 (existing customers) or RM60 (new viewers) | RM20 per day |
| Coverage | All 104 matches live in HD | All matches on selected day |
| Available From | Now | 12 June |
New customers can qualify for the RM50 rate by subscribing to a Unifi TV Pack, which starts from RM12 per month. The daily pass at RM20 is available from 12 June, though the maths favours the season pass for anyone planning to watch on more than three separate days.
Unifi TV has also said dedicated packages for business and hospitality customers will be announced separately, covering restaurants, cafes, hotels, and other venues screening matches for customers. The service works across smart TVs, smartphones, tablets, and web browsers.
Digital Minister Gobind Singh Deo announced on 5 June that the MyGOV app would carry RTM’s live TV channels during the World Cup. The app’s new Live TV section streams TV1, TV2, and Okey TV, which are the RTM channels broadcasting tournament coverage.
You need a MyDigital ID to access the streams. Once logged in, you can watch on your phone or tablet through the app, which is free to download on the Google Play Store, Apple App Store, and Huawei AppGallery.
The MyGOV app launched in August 2025 and currently consolidates 51 services from 19 government agencies, with over 2.2 million registered users. At the time of writing, the Live TV section was visible on the app’s home screen, though the streams were not yet operational ahead of the tournament’s start.
The coverage is the same as RTMKlik and free-to-air MyTV, so your choice depends on which app you already have installed or prefer to use. Do note that RTM will not show every match live; some will be on a delayed telecast basis.
With the tournament hosted across the United States, Mexico, and Canada, most matches will fall during late-night and early-morning hours in Malaysia. The opening match takes place in Mexico City on 11 June local time, which is 12 June at approximately 3:00 AM Malaysia time.
This is the first World Cup to feature 48 teams and 104 matches, up from 32 teams and 64 matches in the previous edition. RTM and Unifi TV have not yet published their match-by-match broadcast schedules.
