Affin Bank, Proton Launch New Co-Branded Card, Affin Avance Proton Affiliate Credit Card/-i

Affin Bank has partnered with automotive company Proton to launch the new co-branded Affin Avance Proton Affiliate credit card/-i, which lets Proton customers earn up to 3x Affin Rewards Points when they use the card to pay for expenses in certain spend categories. In addition to that, they can also access exclusive payment plans for transactions at Proton outlets.

Specifically, you will enjoy the following privileges if you become an Affin Avance Proton Affiliate credit card/-i cardholder:

  • 3x AFFIN Rewards Points for every RM1 spent on dining, online/e-commerce, and transactions at authorised Proton outlets
  • 1x AFFIN Rewards Points for every RM1 spent on other retail transactions
  • Hassle-free overdraft/cash line application
  • 0% easy instalment plans (up to 24 months) for transactions at Proton outlets, including car servicing
  • Lifetime annual fee waiver

The president and group chief executive officer of Affin Bank, Datuk Wan Razly Abdullah said that the bank is proud to be a partner to Proton, especially as the automotive company celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. “We believe the collaboration exemplifies the spirit of innovation inherent to both Affin Bank and Proton while helping to reward and grow the customer base for both brands,” he commented.

Meanwhile, the deputy chief executive officer of Proton, Roslan Abdullah said that the new Affin Avance Proton Affiliate credit card is created specifically for the benefit of Proton customers. “By offering a host of benefits and privileges, we believe the affiliate card will further enhance the ownership experience while rewarding them when they service their cars or purchase our products,” he said.

Roslan also said that the new card will be automatically offered to any Proton buyers who finance their purchases with Affin Bank. Existing owners are welcome to apply for it as well if they would like to enjoy the special privileges provided via the card.
