Affin Bank Revises Air Miles Conversion Rate For Its Credit Cards

Affin Bank is revising the air miles conversion rate for several of its credit cards, with the new rate set to take effect starting from 1 January 2024.

In a notice, the bank said that some of the cards that will be impacted by this latest development include the Affin World Mastercard, Affin UKM Alumni Premier World, and Affin Avance. Here’s the full list of updated rates for your reference:

12,000 AFFIN Rewards Points = 1,000 Malindo Miles

As you can see, the Affin World Mastercard and Affin UKM Alumni Premier World cards will see the biggest increase of 4,000 AFFIN Rewards Points in its air miles conversion rate. This comes up to a hike of about 66% following this update.

Aside from this change, Affin Bank said that the other privileges and benefits of all its credit cards will remain unchanged. Features such as the annual fees and annual income requirements, too, are maintained the same.

In the meantime, you still have some time to take advantage of the existing air miles conversion rate if you wish to, before the update takes effect come next year!
