Alliance Bank has said that it will be revising its air miles redemption rate, namely for Enrich Points and airasia points, effective on 15 March 2024.
In an announcement post on its website, the bank highlighted that the Timeless Bonus Points (TBP) required to claim 1,000 Enrich Points and 1,000 airasia points will be increased as shown below once the revision kicks in – we’ve also included the existing rate for comparison:
Air miles | Current redemption rate | New redemption rate (15 March onwards) |
1,000 airasia points | 3,000 TBP | 6,000 TBP |
1,000 Enrich Points | 10,000 TBP | 15,000 TBP |
For context, Alliance Bank’s last revision to its air miles redemption rate happened back in October 2022, where it increased the conversion rate for 1,000 Enrich Points from 6,000 TBP to the current 10,000 TBP. Meanwhile, the rate for airasia points remained unchanged at that time. It should also be noted that Alliance Bank currently only offers the redemption of Enrich Points and airasia points under its “Air Miles” reward category.
Aside from air miles, the conversion rate for the rest of Alliance Bank’s rewards catalogue appears to remain the same. Alliance Bank’s TBP – which can be earned through a variety of services and products, including credit card spend, deposits, and loans – can also be used to claim e-vouchers, electrical appliances, and lifestyle products – among other things. You can even use it to make donations to selected charities, if you like.
If you’re strictly an air-miles enthusiast, however, you still have some time to take advantage of the current air miles redemption rate, before Alliance Bank’s update takes effect next month, so act fast!
