Hong Leong Bank (HLB) will revise the Enrich Points earn rate for its Visa Infinite series of credit cards, with changes coming into effect on 22 May 2025. The adjustments will apply to the HLB Visa Infinite P Credit Card, the HLB Visa Infinite Credit Card, and the HLB Visa Infinite Doctor’s Edition Credit Card.
Under the current system, cardholders earn Enrich Points at a flat rate of RM3.50 per point for local spending and RM2.20 per point for overseas spending, regardless of the type of transaction. This structure will be replaced by a tiered model, which assigns different earn rates based on spending categories such as dining, travel, retail, and others, as well as by the type of card held.
For the HLB Visa Infinite P Credit Card, dining transactions will earn one Enrich Point for every RM1 spent, both locally and overseas. Travel and retail transactions will earn one point for every RM3 spent, while other eligible spending will earn one point for every RM5 spent.

For the HLB Visa Infinite and Doctor’s Edition cards, dining will also earn one point per RM1. Travel and retail will require RM4 per point, and other transactions will earn one point for every RM6 spent. The bank has provided further detail by way of merchant category codes to clarify which transactions fall under each category.

Transactions posted to cardholders’ accounts before 22 May 2025 will continue to earn Enrich Points at the current flat rate. Transactions posted on or after the effective date will be subject to the revised tiered earn rates, which vary by card type and spending category.
HLB has confirmed that there will be no changes to the annual fees for these credit cards. They will continue to be issued with lifetime fee waivers for eligible customers. Further information and detailed tables outlining the new Enrich Points structure are available on the bank’s website.
