Between now until 11 December, Maybank is holding a promotion that lets its American Express (Amex) cardholders enjoy an RM18 discount when they make purchases on Shopee.

With this promotion, you’ll be able to get RM18 off your expenses on Shopee when you spend a minimum of RM120 in a single receipt using your Maybank Amex credit or charge card. In other words, you’re essentially getting a maximum of 15% discount for your purchases (if you stop spending at RM120).

The discount is valid for existing cardholders and you can only use it once during the promotion period. Additionally, the deal is offered to the first 350 cardmembers daily, on a first-come first-served basis.

To tap into this deal, remember to key in the promo code (MBBAMEX) during your checkout session. Its terms and conditions also clarified that you can only use this promo for purchases made via the Shopee app (Shopee Mall and Preferred Sellers) only.

This promotion comes on the heels of Shopee’s latest update to its payment options, which enables Shopee users to now use and save their Amex cards on the e-commerce platform. This includes the top-up function for the ShopeePay e-wallet as well.
