Standard Chartered has announced an update to its credit card offerings, confirming that the Visa Infinite credit card will no longer be available effective 10 March 2025, as part of its efforts to enhance its credit card offerings and improve service efficiency.
To ensure a smooth transition, the bank has extended an alternative credit card option to clients who do not hold any other Standard Chartered credit cards apart from the Visa Infinite card. Clients with other existing Standard Chartered credit cards are advised to transfer their spending and auto-billing arrangements before the discontinuation date.
The bank has urged all Visa Infinite cardholders to check their registered email accounts for further details on the changes. Additionally, Standard Chartered has confirmed that this update will result in a revision to its Consolidated Credit Card Terms. Clause 7 of the terms will no longer be applicable from 10 March 2025, while all other provisions will remain unchanged.
Reassuring clients of its commitment to providing continued support, Standard Chartered has encouraged those with queries or concerns regarding the transition to reach out via the SC Mobile app or Online Banking. Alternatively, customers can contact the bank directly via email at [email protected].
