UOB Revises Credit And Charge Card Fees Effective 3 Nov
Author Avatar

UOB has announced updates to its credit and charge card fees, which will take effect on 3 November 2025. The changes include lower charges for additional statement requests and new rates for card replacement.

Lower Fees For Additional Statement Requests

Under the revised structure, customers who self-collect statements at a UOB branch will pay RM1 per monthly statement, while those opting for normal mail delivery will be charged RM2.50.

Previously, the bank charged RM5 for requests made in person or by fax, and RM6 for statements sent by post.

Updated Card Replacement Charges

The replacement fee for lost, stolen, or damaged UOB credit cards will be set at RM15 per card. For the UOB Visa Infinite Metal Card, the fee remains RM500.

This replaces the previous RM50 charge for standard credit cards, while maintaining the existing rate for the Visa Infinite Metal Card.

Other Applicable Fees Remain Unchanged

The revisions form part of UOB’s regular review of its card products and are reflected in its updated Product Disclosure Sheet and related materials.

A Service Tax of RM25 per principal and supplementary card will continue to apply annually upon card approval and renewal. Other existing charges, including the 5% cash advance fee (or RM20, whichever is higher), RM2 monthly hardcopy statement fee, and foreign transaction conversion charges of up to 2.22%, remain unchanged.
