UOB EVOL Card To Introduce New Cashback And UNIRinggit Features In 2026
Author Avatar

UOB has announced that the UOB EVOL Card will adopt a new structure from 1 January 2026. The revision introduces updated cashback categories, UNIRinggit rewards, and a 0% instalment option. The current structure remains in place until 31 December 2025, with final cashback credited in January 2026.

Cashback Shifts To Online Spend And E-Wallet Top-Ups

From 2026, cardholders will earn 10% cashback on online spend and 5% on e-wallet top-ups, subject to a minimum monthly retail spend of RM1,000 and a monthly cap of RM15 for each category.

Until the end of 2025, the card continues to offer 8% cashback at sustainable merchants and 5% on online, entertainment, and contactless parking transactions.

UNIRinggit Rewards Added To EVOL Card

The new structure will introduce UNIRinggit rewards, which are not currently available for this card. Cardholders will earn 5X UNIRinggit on entertainment and dining, and 1X UNIRinggit on other purchases starting 1 January 2026.

0% Easi-Payment Plan Available For Eligible Purchases

Cardholders will also be able to convert selected transactions into monthly instalments under a 0% Easi-Payment Plan. This applies to foreign currency transactions and spending related to hotels, airlines, travel agencies, education, and entertainment.

Eligible amounts range between RM1,000 and RM5,000 within a single transaction, with instalment periods of three, six, or twelve months. This feature is not part of the existing card structure.

Transition To The New Structure

All current EVOL Card features remain effective until 31 December 2025. Cashback for December 2025 will be credited in January 2026 before the new structure takes effect.

Full terms and conditions for the EVOL Card and the 0% Easi-Payment Plan are available on UOB’s official website [PDF].
