From now until 31 August 2022, CIMB Bank is running its Card2WIN Credit Card campaign, which will allow eligible credit cardholders a chance to win a grand prize, as well as monthly and weekly prizes. To participate in the campaign and win, you’ll need to earn entries by making eligible transactions, as well as fulfil specified spending requirements. 

Open to all principal and supplementary credit cardholders (except for Platinum Business and Fuel Tanker cardholders), the prizes that are on offer are all “green prizes” that will contribute to a sustainable lifestyle. Here’s the full list of prizes that are up for grabs:

No registration is required to participate in the campaign. Instead, cardholders will need to earn entries by making eligible transactions with a minimum spend of RM100 in a single receipt. You can check out the table below for the eligible transactions and the number of entries that you’ll gain:

In addition to earning entries, you’ll also need to meet the minimum spend requirements in order to qualify for specific prize categories, namely: 

• Grand prize: Spend a minimum of RM10,000 on retail transactions throughout the entire campaign
• Monthly prizes: Spend a minimum of RM1,000 on retail transactions throughout the entire campaign
• Weekly prizes: No minimum spend required 

Note that transactions such as cash advance, payments of annual fees and service charges, as well as standing instructions do not count as eligible transactions for this campaign. 

If you manage to meet all the requirements mentioned above, you may then be randomly selected by CIMB as potential prize winners, and asked to answer some questions as the final step to winning the prizes. 

For the weekly prize category, 300 participants will be shortlisted each campaign week. If you’re shortlisted, you’ll receive one question via SMS within 12 weeks from the end of each campaign month. The first 86 participants who correctly answer the question in the fastest time will be declared winners. The prizes will be delivered to their mailing address within 12 weeks from the end of each participating month. 

Meanwhile, for the monthly prize category, ten participants will be shortlisted. Instead of one question, the candidates will get two questions via SMS within 12 weeks from the end of the campaign period. You’ll win if you’re one of the first two participants to provide the right answers, and your prizes will be delivered to your mailing address within 12 weeks from the end of each participating month.

As for the grand prize category, ten participants will be shortlisted by CIMB at the end of the campaign period. The selected participants will be contacted by the bank via telephone within 16 weeks from the end of the campaign period, and will be required to answer two questions. The first participant to answer the questions correctly will be crowned the winner, who will receive the grand prize on a date to be determined by CIMB. 

Finally, do be aware that each credit cardholder is eligible to win only a maximum of one prize for each prize category throughout the campaign period.
