Citi is currently running its 2022 March-May Spend and Get campaign, which allows selected credit cardholders to earn 5% cashback on their monthly expenses when they spend a specified minimum cumulative amount during each campaign month. Already ongoing, the promo will run for three months until 31 May 2022.
By invitation only, this campaign is made available to three different customer categories, with each category having a different qualifying requirement and cashback cap:
| Category | Qualifying requirement | Eligible cashback per campaign month | Cashback cap per customer each month |
| Category 1 | Minimum cumulative spend of RM300 per campaign month | 5% | RM100 |
| Category 2 | Minimum cumulative spend as indicated in invitation SMS or email | 5% | RM150 |
| Category 3 | Minimum cumulative spend as indicated in invitation SMS or email | 5% | RM400 |

Note that any spend made on Citi cards qualify for this campaign, except for expenses such as existing recurring or auto-billing payments, JomPay transactions, and Citi 0% Easy Pay Plan.
As always, the cashback rewards will be provided on a first-come first-served basis to qualifying customers; if you do win, the reward will be credited into your account within 60 days after the end of each campaign month. Citi also clarified that it has allocated a budget of RM30,000 for Category 1, as well as RM240,000 (per category) for Category 2 and 3 for the whole campaign period.
Citi cardholders who wish to join this campaign will need to register their participation by responding to the invitation SMS or email sent to them. Upon successful registration, you’ll receive a confirmation message. Do also be aware that each eligible cardmember is only required to register only once during the campaign period, even if you have more than one Citi credit card.
