Hong Leong Campaign Rewards Fully Vaccinated Credit Cardholders With Chance To Win 100% Cashback

Hong Leong Bank has rolled out the It’s Worth The Shot! Campaign, which rewards its Visa credit cardholders who are fully vaccinated for Covid-19 with a chance to win 100% cashback on their highest transactions between 9 October until 15 November 2021. This transaction must be carried out in a single receipt.
Open to both new and existing Visa cardholders, eligible customers will need to spend RM50 via qualifying retail transactions to earn a specified number of entries, which will then put them in the running to win the cashback prize. The number of entries earned are provided according to the category of your expenses, namely:
- Every RM50 spent in groceries, pharmacies, or e-wallets: 5 entries
- Every RM50 spent in any other categories: 1 entry
As many as 120 cardholders will be chosen to win the 100% cashback prize, with each prize capped at a maximum of RM1,000. Note that eligible retail transactions for the campaign exclude expenses such as retail spend paid via recurring payment or auto-billing, balance transfers, and flexi payment plans.
To participate in this campaign, HLB’s Visa cardholders will need to fill in an online registration form with some basic personal details. These include their NRIC number, Visa credit card number, and a valid screenshot of their Covid-19 vaccination certificate. Once the registration is complete, they can start earning entries to win the cashback prize.
The winners will be randomly selected using an automated system, and the cashback will be credited into their card accounts within 30 working days after the end of the campaign period. This will also be reflected in the winners’ account statements.
There is actually another tier of prizes to be won under this same campaign, but it took place a few days before today. This early bird special allowed the first 1,000 cardholders who registered for the campaign to earn an additional 50% cashback for their first spend on 10 October 2021 (capped at RM20 per cardholder).
