Insurtech Ouch! Launches Jaga Generasi Campaign To Give Back To Community

Digital takaful operator Ouch! has launched its Jaga Generasi campaign in conjunction with the month of Ramadan, where it’ll donate to a noble cause with every certificate sold. This initiative seeks not only to give back to the community, but also to encourage and empower more Malaysians to secure their financial well-being.

In its statement, Ouch! said that it will donate RM10 Touch ‘n Go (TNG) vouchers and an additional RM10 to its charity partner, Pertiwi, with each certificate sold. The TNG vouchers, specifically, can be used for buka puasa.

Ouch! also took the opportunity to emphasise its role as a fully digitalised takaful platform, where it leverages on technology to offer a more accessible and affordable takaful experience. Among other things, it provides a coverage calculator during the application process so that customers can determine their ideal protection plan quickly, as well as allows customisations to one’s plan at any given time.

To note, Ouch! rolled out its term-life takaful offering called Pusara Pro in August last year. Policyholders are entitled to a death benefit of up to RM500,000 and an additional 10% compassionate benefit of the total sum assured in the event of death.

Aside from the Jaga Generasi campaign, Ouch! also has another ongoing initiative called the Kita Cover Challenge, which is essentially a referral programme. Running until 31 March 2024, you can earn a total of RM2,500 for 25 successful referrals for Pusara Pro.

“We envision the Kita Cover Challenge, together with our Jaga Generasi efforts, welcoming more Malaysians into the Ouch! Family – creating a space where everyone looks out for each other’s financial health, just like takaful intends,” said the chief executive officer of Ouch!, Shazy Noorazman.

You can download the Ouch! app from Google Play and the App Store to find out more about the campaigns and offerings. Alternatively, you can also visit the Ouch! website here.
