Maybank has introduced Motorcycle Takaful application and renewal available directly on its MAE app and Maybank2u website, offering customers a 10% instant rebate on top of their No Claims Discount (NCD).

The motorcycle takaful plans are underwritten by Etiqa, similar to those offered in the Etiqa website. Customers also can opt for optional coverage such as flood and landslide protection as well as personal accident cover for added security.

The plan aligns with Shariah principles, employing the Wakalah (Agency) concept for fund management and Tabarru’ (Donation) to support mutual assistance. Surplus funds are distributed between participants and Etiqa, with a portion allocated to charitable causes.
