Malaysian F1 fans could pay as little as RM200 for a three-day ticket to the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix at Sepang, based on ticket prices that have surfaced online.
The prices, which have been circulating on social media and among motorsport communities, show six ticket categories for the race weekend from 2 to 4 October 2026. They have not been officially confirmed by the organisers.
If the prices hold, Malaysian citizens with a valid MyKad could get three-day access to the circuit for RM200. The most expensive option listed is the Main Grandstand at RM2,083.40.

The circulated ticketing page states that the special rates are only available to Malaysian citizens with a valid MyKad.
You’ll need to go through a verification process, and discounted tickets can be invalidated if the purchaser does not meet the eligibility requirements.
Children aged three to six are reportedly entitled to a 25% discount, except for the G Hillstand ticket. Children under three can enter for free, although no seat will be allocated.
The reported MyKad pricing comes after Sepang International Circuit (SIC) chief executive officer Azhan Shafriman Hanif said last month that SIC was negotiating with Bahrain for more affordable rates for Malaysian fans.
He specifically mentioned the possibility of a special MyKad price, but said Bahrain would have the final say because it is paying the Formula 1 hosting rights fee and will receive the ticket sales revenue.
The prices are unofficially reported figures. Screenshots of the ticketing page have been widely shared, but the original page has reportedly since been taken down. Formula 1’s announcement on 26 July said ticket information would be announced separately, while SIC has said ticket pricing was still being negotiated with the Bahrain International Circuit.
So if you’re planning to watch the race, it’s better to wait for the official ticket release before making a purchase based on these figures.
The race itself is confirmed for 2 to 4 October at Sepang International Circuit. It is being held as a replacement for the cancelled Bahrain round and will take place between the Azerbaijan and Singapore Grands Prix.
