No one dislikes a good birthday surprise, and popular Indonesian media personality Raffi Ahmad had certainly given his wife, actress Nagita Slavina, a delightful one by delivering a functioning automated teller machine (ATM) to their home for the occasion.

Raffi and Nagita – who both share the same birth date (17 February) – were forced to celebrate their birthdays separately this year as Raffi had contracted Covid-19 and was placed in isolation. However, that did not stop Raffi from giving his wife a birthday surprise by delivering and installing an ATM from Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) in their home on 17 February.

Naturally, Nagita thought that the ATM was only an imitation, but was stunned when she was actually able to withdraw money from it. Here’s the full TikTok video of the surprise:

Raffi eventually clarified that the ATM is “merely a marketing gimmick” as both he and Nagita are semi brand ambassadors of BNI. BNI also agreed to play along with Raffi’s request as the couple was one of their top clients.

Raffi further explained that the ATM will not be permanently installed in his home. Instead, it will soon be moved to the compound of his entertainment company, RANS Entertainment – which he co-owns with Nagita. The office is one block away from their house, and the ATM is expected to provide better convenience to the community around the area.
