E-commerce platform Lazada has officially announced that it will be ending its Everyday Cashback rewards programme by this month.

“We’re shaking things up! Everyday Cashback will be ceasing on October 2023. But don’t worry – this is just a part of Lazada’s bigger plan to elevate and deliver an unparalleled shopping experience for you. Stay tuned – exciting things are coming!” Lazada shared in a notice on its Everyday Cashback page within the app, as well as reminded customers to make full use of their remaining balance before it expires.

The Everyday Cashback rewards programme has not actually been around for long – it was introduced only at the beginning of this year in January 2023 – but quickly became a popular option for customers to save as they spend on Lazada. Over the subsequent months, it then adjusted the cashback rates offered, before rolling out an update early this month where the Everyday Cashback vouchers were replaced with two new variants: Weekly Cashback vouchers and Special Cashback monthly vouchers.

It’s not yet certain whether Lazada’s plan going forward is to continue retaining Weekly and Special Cashback vouchers as replacements for the Everyday Cashback vouchers, or to introduce a completely new rewards programme.
