E-commerce platform Lazada has introduced a new rewards programme called Everyday Cashback, which allows buyers to earn and enjoy cashback by collecting vouchers and making orders on the platform. This is on top of other perks that buyers are already able to tap into, including free shipping and rebate vouchers.

To enjoy this new benefit, buyers will need to first collect Everyday Cashback vouchers, either through their Lazada profile page or on selected product pages of sellers who have enrolled in the Everyday Cashback programme.

Once collected, you can then redeem the vouchers through your purchase of eligible products, but note that the cashback is not immediately deducted from your current purchase total. Instead, the cashback earned will be credited into a dedicated Cashback Balance account. This Cashback Balance amount – which will accumulate as you make more similar purchases – can then be used to offset your purchase total for future orders.

Do be aware that the maximum amount of Everyday Cashback that you can collect is capped at RM45 per day. Additionally, all cashback earned will have a validity period of 30 days from the day it is credited into your Cashback Balance account (once the order has been successfully delivered) – so always make sure to keep track of the dates!

Note as well that while the Everyday Cashback voucher can only be redeemed with selected products (referred to as cashback-eligible products), the cashback credit that you have collected in your Cashback Balance can be spent on both cashback-eligible and regular products. The amount of credit that you are allowed to spend will, however, differ for the two types of products; you can utilise your Cashback Balance to offset 30% of your order value if you’re purchasing cashback-eligible products, and 10% for regular products (capped at a maximum of RM5 cashback per order).

Aside from the new Everyday Cashback rewards programme, Lazada also offers numerous existing perks for its users, such as platform, store, and free shipping vouchers. Regular Lazada users will also be familiar with the e-commerce platform’s ability to stack up to five vouchers in a single order during Lazada’s double date sales to maximise their savings when shopping.
