Lazada Everyday Cashback Now Offsets 5% Of Order Value For Non-Cashback Products
Author Avatar

Lazada has announced that customers will now only be allowed to redeem Everyday Cashback to offset 5% of the order value for their non-cashback/regular purchases, reduced from the previous 10%. On top of that, this amount will now also be capped at RM2 per order, as compared to the previous cap of RM5.

Meanwhile, those who are purchasing cashback-eligible products can continue to use their earned Everyday Cashback to offset 25% of their order value – capped at RM15 per order. For context, the redemption rate for this category had already been adjusted earlier this year (while the redemption rate for non-cashback regular purchases was left unrevised); prior to that, customers were able to use their earned Everyday Cashback to offset 30% of their order value for cashback-eligible items.

Aside from this, other criteria and use terms for Lazada’s Everyday Cashback feature also remains unchanged. You’re still required to collect the Everyday Cashback vouchers and apply them to your purchases to earn these cashback rewards, and then use them in your subsequent purchases once they have been credited to your account. The validity period of the Everyday Cashback earned is also maintained at 30 days from the day it is credited to you, and you can only use up to RM45 of cashback credit per day.

For context, Lazada launched Everyday Cashback back in January this year, and since then, the feature has become one of the key perks that customers tap into frequently to maximise their savings while shopping on the e-commerce platform. That said, the Everyday Cashback vouchers can now only be stacked with other selected vouchers – such as seller and free shipping vouchers – following a recent revision in May 2023; previously, it can be used in combination with any kind of vouchers on Lazada.
