AirAsia has launched a sale with one-way fares starting from RM59, with one million seats on offer across both short-haul and long-haul destinations. Bookings are open until 14 April 2026, with travel valid from 20 April 2026 to 27 March 2027.
The promotion spans a wide range of destinations across the region. Short-haul options include Johor Bahru, Penang, Phuket, Ho Chi Minh City, Shenzhen, Wuhan, and Trivandrum, while long-haul destinations include Taipei, Osaka, Seoul, Changsha, Chengdu, New Delhi, Melbourne, and Sydney.
The starting fare of RM59 applies to one-way travel and is all-in, covering passenger service charges, regulatory service charges, fuel surcharges, and other applicable fees.
Travellers who book through the AirAsia MOVE app can unlock an additional 30% off Value Pack add-ons, which cover travel essentials such as baggage and meal options. The discount is not available when booking through the website directly.
The sale is part of a broader campaign called Give Peace a Chance, which AirAsia launched in response to the recent ceasefire amid ongoing global tensions. Co-founder Tony Fernandes tied the promotion to the airline’s founding mission, saying the company has spent 25 years making the world smaller by connecting communities and bringing people closer to the moments and people that matter most.
Fernandes added that travel plays a unique role in building understanding between people, and that connection should never become a luxury.
Fares are available at airasia.com or via the AirAsia MOVE app. The booking window closes on 14 April 2026, so travellers planning holidays or visits through to early 2027 may want to lock in fares before then.
