TNG eWallet Users Can Now Get GXBank Financing
Author Avatar

TNG eWallet users can now apply for GXBank’s FlexiCredit financing directly through the app, without opening a separate GXBank account.

The partnership between TNG Digital and GXBank gives users access to a revolving credit facility through TNG eWallet’s CashLoan feature, so you can apply for financing through an app you already use.

How FlexiCredit Works

FlexiCredit isn’t a conventional personal loan where you receive one lump sum and start repaying it immediately.

Instead, you’re given a credit limit that you can draw from when you need it. As you repay what you’ve borrowed, the available credit is replenished.

The facility offers credit limits of up to RM150,000, with repayment periods ranging from six to 60 months. The flat interest rate starts from 3.78% per annum, equivalent to an effective interest rate (EIR) of 6.45% per annum.

Who Can Apply?

GXBank’s FlexiCredit is available to eligible Malaysians aged 21 to 64 with a minimum monthly income of RM1,500.

You can be employed or self-employed, but meeting the basic requirements doesn’t guarantee approval. GXBank will assess each application before deciding whether to approve the facility.

How To Apply

To apply through TNG eWallet, go to GOfinance and select CashLoan. If FlexiCredit is available to you, you can proceed with the application from there.

You’ll need to provide information about your income and employment, and may need to submit supporting documents for the application.

If you’re approved, you can draw down the credit when you need it rather than taking the entire approved amount at once.

This can be useful if you want access to extra funds without borrowing a large lump sum upfront. Just remember that the approved credit limit is the maximum you can borrow, not an amount you need to use.
