Hong Leong Bank’s Instant Cashback For Cashless Payments
Author Avatar

Hong Leong Bank has launched a new promotion offering customers instant cashback for using its digital banking platform, HLB Connect. The HLB Connect Instant Cashback for Your Cashless Instant Payments promotion is designed to reward both new and existing customers for their online transactions. It runs from 15 September 2025 until 15 November 2025.

Who Is Eligible For The Cashback?

The promotion is open to new and existing individual customers who use HLB Connect. To be eligible, customers must have an HLB or HLISB Current or Savings Account, an HLB Meezani Account-i, or an HLB Credit Card.

How To Earn Cashback

Customers can earn instant cashback through two types of transactions. For DuitNow QR payments to local merchants, customers receive RM0.10 in instant cashback for each transaction with a minimum spend of RM10. Each eligible customer can earn up to RM1 per week, with a total cashback cap of RM9 for the entire promotion period.

Alternatively, customers can earn cashback by making FPX or DuitNow Online Banking/Wallet transactions. For each transaction with a minimum of RM30, customers will receive RM0.20 in instant cashback. Under this category, each customer can earn up to RM2 per week, with a maximum of RM18 throughout the promotion.

Good to Know Before You Participate

It is important to note that the cashback is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Once the total weekly cashback allocation of RM17,000 per week, with a slightly lower amount of RM14,000 for the final week,  has been reached, no further cashback will be given for the remaining hours or days in that particular week. The bank is not obligated to notify customers once this cap is reached. All instant cashback is credited to the customer’s account instantly, and a notification appears on the HLB Connect transaction screen following a successful transaction.
