Touch ‘n Go To Restock Pokémon Special Edition Series
Author Avatar

Touch ‘n Go has announced that it will restock its Pokémon Special Edition collection, offering another chance for fans who missed out during the initial release.

The company shared the update in a recent Facebook post, stating that the restock comes in response to strong demand.

Collection Includes Charms And RFID Tags

The Pokémon Special Edition series was first launched in October and includes Pokémon themed charms and RFID tags.

While Touch ‘n Go did not specify which individual items will be restocked, its announcement featured images of the collection released so far, suggesting that multiple products from the series may return.

During the earlier launch, selected items sold out shortly after release.

No Restock Date Confirmed

Touch ‘n Go has not announced the exact restock date, pricing details, or whether quantities will be limited.

Customers interested in purchasing the special edition items may need to monitor Touch ‘n Go’s official channels for further updates.

Limited edition collaborations tied to popular franchises typically see strong demand in Malaysia, particularly when the products combine everyday utility with collectible appeal.

Buyers Raise Concerns Over Scalping

Following the announcement, several users expressed concern that the restock could attract scalpers.

Some suggested introducing purchase limits per customer, especially for high demand items such as the Pikachu LED edition, to allow more buyers to purchase at retail price.

Limited edition merchandise often appears on secondary marketplaces when supply is constrained. Touch ‘n Go has not indicated whether any purchase restrictions will be introduced for this restock.

What Buyers Should Know Before Purchasing

Touch ‘n Go RFID tags are linked to users’ eWallet accounts and are primarily used for toll payments. The charms are accessories and do not change the functionality of the RFID tag itself.

As with other limited edition releases, buyers should ensure purchases are made through official or authorised channels to avoid counterfeit items or inflated resale prices.

Touch ‘n Go has not stated whether this will be the final restock for the Pokémon Special Edition series.
