Local entertainment service, iflix, has announced that it is giving all Malaysians free access to its iflixVIP content following the enforcement of the movement restriction order nationwide.

You can redeem your free access anytime between now and 31 March 2020, and it will be valid for a month from the date of your redemption. To do so, you will only need to key in the voucher (tonton_iflix) – no need to fill up any forms.

iflix – which carries entertainment from various countries, such as the US, Hong Kong, Korea, China, and Japan – offers its content through two packages: iflixFREE and iflixVIP.

Content offered as part of the iflixFREE package can be viewed for free, although you will have to contend with intermittent advertisements during your viewing experience. If you subscribe to iflixVIP, however, you’ll be able to unlock premium access to extra content and features, as well as get ad-free viewing for your shows.

iflix is not the only entertainment service to have opened up free access to otherwise locked content. Both Astro and unifi, too, are giving complimentary access to locked movie channels to help their customers cope during this 14-day period of movement restriction order. The order was imposed by the government to curb the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country.
