Japan Stays No Longer Earn Bonus UNIRM With UOB PRVI Miles Elite
Author Avatar

UOB has announced an update for its UOB PRVI Miles Elite credit cardholders who frequently book travel through Agoda. Effective 23 September 2025, any bookings made for accommodation in Japan will no longer qualify for the Bonus UNIRM incentive under the ongoing Bonus UNIRM for UOB PRVI Miles Elite Cardmembers Spent at Agoda Campaign.

This update has been made due to internal arrangements with Agoda’s partner properties in Japan, and as a result, the campaign’s terms and conditions have been revised accordingly.

What Is Changing?

The new policy directly affects how cardmembers earn reward points. The bank’s terms and conditions now explicitly state that “accommodation bookings made for Japan will not be recognised as qualifying Agoda Spent”. This means that while other Agoda bookings may still earn Bonus UNIRM, those for Japanese hotels and stays will no longer be eligible for the special rate.

Key Details of the Campaign

The overall campaign, which provides cardholders with Bonus UNIRM for spending on Agoda, runs from 13 January 2025, to 30 November 2026. To qualify, cardmembers must book through the dedicated landing page via agoda.com/myprvimiles, and the payment must be a prepaid booking with Agoda handling the transaction. All Agoda spending is tracked and captured by the bank’s system, but the new exclusion for Japan will apply from the effective date.
