KTM Berhad Raises ETS Ticket Discount To 30%
Author Avatar

KTM Berhad has upgraded its Electric Train Service (ETS) ticket discount from 20% to 30%, applying the revised rate across all routes effective 18 February 2026. The announcement was made via the rail operator’s official Facebook page.

20% Discount Was Already In Place for the Festive Season

KTM Berhad had initially rolled out a 20% discount on selected ETS trips between 18 and 22 February 2026, timed to coincide with Chinese New Year celebrations and the start of Ramadan. The discount has since been extended to cover all ETS routes at the higher rate of 30%.

Two Promo Codes, Depending on Your Journey

Passengers need to enter a promo code at the point of purchase to receive the discounted fare. The applicable code varies by train number and travel date, either NURRAMADAN or RAMADANTIBA. Travellers are advised to check which code applies to their specific booking before completing their purchase.

Where to Buy Your Tickets

Tickets can be purchased through the KITS Style app, the KTMB official website, or at any authorised KTMB ticketing channel. KTM Berhad has encouraged passengers to secure their seats early, as the promotion is valid while stocks last.
