The Inland Revenue Board (LHDN) will soon allow taxpayers to arrange appointments directly with officers managing their cases, following an expansion of its e-Janji Temu system. Beginning 1 May, individuals who receive letters or notifications through the MyTax portal and need additional clarification will be able to schedule a meeting with the relevant officer using the updated digital booking system.

According to LHDN, the enhanced platform gives taxpayers the flexibility to engage with officers either in person or through online channels, offering a more accessible approach to resolving tax-related queries. Appointment scheduling can be initiated through the MyTax system by navigating to the message inbox, selecting the relevant correspondence, and clicking the e-Janji Temu icon.

To assist users in navigating the system, a user manual is available under the ‘Panduan Pengguna’ section of the MyTax portal, where step-by-step guidance is provided for taxpayers making use of the appointment service.

Initially launched on 1 January 2023, the e-Janji Temu system was developed to streamline access to LHDN counter services. Its capabilities were later extended on 8 March 2024, enabling employers to request off-site assistance through the same platform.

For any further questions or assistance, members of the public may reach out to the Hasil Contact Centre at 03-8911 1000 (or +603-8911 1000 for international callers), use the Hasil Live Chat function, or submit feedback via the official portal at maklumbalaspelanggan.hasil.gov.my/Public
