The public will be able to renew their road tax and driving licence at Pos Malaysia once more starting from today (9 August 2021) following its resumption of such services. Customers are, however, required to first make an appointment.

According to a statement by Pos Malaysia, customers can book their appointments through either its official website (via the Outlet Finder feature) or the Pos Malaysia mobile app. It said that the appointments are necessary to avoid overcrowding at their premises.

“A customer is permitted to book only one appointment slot per day and perform a maximum of three transactions per appointment,” said Pos Malaysia.

Pos Malaysia also reminded customers to adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) such as wearing a face mask, checking their body temperature, scanning the MySejahtera code, and maintaining the one-metre physical distancing rule. Additionally, the public is urged not to visit Pos Malaysia’s outlets if they are feeling unwell or experiencing any Covid-19 symptoms.

Pos Malaysia’s announcement came at the heels of the Road Transport Department’s earlier reminder that all road users are required to renew expired their licences by 30 September 2021. Moreover, no further extensions will be provided to the current grace period.

For those with enquiries or feedback, you can reach out to the national courier service through AskPos on its website or via the Pos Malaysia mobile app.
