Proton e.MAS Offers 25% Charging Discount Ahead Of Raya Travel
Author Avatar

Balik kampung trips often come with higher travel costs, especially when fuel prices rise before the festive season. If you drive a Proton e.MAS, your charging cost could be lower this Hari Raya, with a limited-time discount and service perks available ahead of the holiday period.

From 17 to 25 March 2026, charging fees are 25% lower when using the Proton e.MAS and Hello smart apps. Additional after-sales benefits are available at authorised service centres until 31 March 2026.

Charging Discount Reduces Travel Cost During Raya

The discount comes at a time when fuel prices have been increasing across Peninsular Malaysia. For the week of 12 to 18 March 2026, RON97 is priced at RM3.85 per litre, unsubsidised RON95 at RM3.27, and diesel at RM3.92.

For drivers planning long-distance travel, those costs can add up quickly. Lower charging fees help reduce the cost of each trip, especially if multiple stops are needed along the way.

Charging Access Covers Most Major Routes

Charging sessions under the promotion must be started through the Proton e.MAS or Hello smart apps, which connect to a nationwide network of more than 4,300 charging points across over 1,400 locations.

This makes it easier to plan routes and find available chargers without relying on multiple apps, which can be important when travelling across states during peak periods.

Service Perks Help Prepare For Long Drives

Before heading out, Proton e.MAS owners can also visit authorised 3S centres for a range of Raya-related service benefits available until 31 March 2026.

These include vehicle checks, servicing vouchers, car washes, and charging support. For drivers preparing for longer journeys, these add-ons help ensure the car is ready while reducing some out-of-pocket costs.

The Benefit Is Limited To The Travel Period

The savings apply only during the promotional window, so the impact depends on whether you are travelling within those dates.

For those heading back to their hometown during Raya, the lower charging cost and service support can help reduce overall travel expenses. Outside of this period, charging fees return to standard rates, so the long-term running cost remains unchanged.
