PTPTN Campaign Offers Total RM100,000 Cash Prizes To Be Won

The National Higher Education Fund Corporation’s (PTPTN) is currently running its WOW! Syoknya Raya 2024 campaign, where it is offering cash prizes totalling RM100,000 to as many as 181 lucky winners. Set to run until 30 April 2024, it is open to all Simpan SSPN depositors, including Simpan SSPN Prime and Simpan SSPN Plus.

According to PTPTN, there will be a grand prize of RM10,000 cash to be won via the campaign, in addition to 180 consolation prizes worth RM500. Those who would like to join can participate by opening a Simpan SSPN account or adding to their savings during the campaign period, which will then earn them campaign entries.

Depositors will receive one entry for every net deposit of RM50 made into their Simpan SSPN Prime account, and two entries for Simpan SSPN Plus accounts. If you make your net deposit of RM50 through myPTPTN, salary deductions, or direct debit, the amount of entries that can be earned will be increased to five entries (Simpan SSPN Prime depositors) or ten entries (Simpan SSPN Plus depositors).

Aside from that, PTPTN also reminded that depositors who participate in the campaign must ensure that their accounts remain active with no arrears until the draw date. Additionally, they must not make any withdrawals or transfers during the retention period from 1 to 31 May 2024 in order to qualify for the prizes.

Chairman of PTPTN, Datuk Norliza Abdul Rahim said that this campaign serves as a way for PTPTN to show its appreciation to Malaysians who choose to save on its platform.

“Depositors participating in this campaign not only have the opportunity to win substantial prizes but will also enjoy various benefits of Simpan SSPN. This savings product is the only one that offers income tax relief on net savings of up to RM8,000 per year, in addition to providing takaful protection for depositors. It also offers a matching grant of up to RM10,000 for eligible families, competitive dividends, government-guaranteed savings, and shariah compliance,” said Datuk Norliza.

For context, the WOW! Syoknya Raya 2024 campaign is actually part of a bigger Cabutan WOW! Simpan SSPN 2024 initiative. This initiative is made up of several sub-promos that are aligned to various celebrations and occasions throughout the whole of 2024. Prior to the WOW! Syoknya Raya 2024 campaign, there was a WOW! Gong Xi Ang Pow 2024 campaign. Following the current Raya campaign, there will another three more WOW! campaigns to go.
